Design Resource: Old Book Scans

Friday, October 12th, 2007

Wanna check out old-school typography and illustrations from age-old books? Check out this website, Liam’s Pictures from Old books. It’s a great design resource specially when you’re looking up for themed designs for your latest client, or just for your reference. The website features over 1980 images with high-res scans, so it’s definitely one for the book. There are a lot of books dating back from the early 1500s to the 1900s, which is a great period resource not only design-wise, but history wise as well.

You might want to check ‘em out. Pandagdag lang sa resource list niyo or whatever, you could use them as stock elements because the copyright’s already expired (malamang, kasi wala pa sigurong copyright nung ginawa ‘tong mga to.)
